Tbh i so much agree with ur last point. My friend has been TTC over the years. Her husband loves kid. She gets pregnant on 3rd year but miscarriage. Both of them were crying. I was sad looking how desperate people wanting a child then suddenly lost it.
correct me if I'm wrong, but the rape happen before the accident right ?
plus they both said that they saw Sean last after the accident cuz that's when Sean's pregnant and lost(?) the baby ...
FOR THOSE WHO NOT UNDERSTAND! This is the TIMELINE
1. Jake & Sean were bestfriend. Both were falling in love with each other but none of them confessed to each other.
2. One day, Jake has the courage to confess. they kissed. Sean who also in love with him indirectly rejecting him saying "don't do this again". Sean thought Jake just fooling around.
3. Their classmate asking Sean if they were dating since everybody knows that Jake always protecting Sean like a lover. Sean denied and saying it was disgusting. It might also because he doesn't want people to treat Jake indifferent like what happened to him as a bully target. That how much Sean love Jake but at the back door, Jake heard and hurt so much. He indirectly get 2nd rejection.
4. Because Jake was too hurt, he stays away from Sean. Sean also didn't know that Jake was broken heart.
5. Sean got to know on the day they were kissing and holding hands, he was pregnant with Jakes. Happily wanted to tell Jake but Jake once again saw Sean with Kyle and drive him mad. He wanted to hit Kyle but Sean saves him and loses the baby.
6. Their relationship become so bad. I guess that's when Sean started to be friend with Kyle.
7. Because Jake thought Sean hated gays but contradicts dating Kyle, he raped Sean out of jealousy.
8. Sean was hurt because the one did was the one he truly loves. so he disappears from both, kyle and jake.
9. Years later, Jake found Sean again and this time he really wanted to fix every sin he does. Even Sean hated him, hit him or wanting to meet Kyle, he will always protect Sean from the back. He says clearly how much he loved Sean back then even now. Sean didn't trust him because of what he did.
10. They fall in love again (shit, they never stop falling in love with each other actually) and then Jake was happy knowing he might have a child with Sean (Emily) which he desires the most.
11. Tony says Emily is not Jake's child and Jake has kill his child on the accident (miscarriage). This is the trigger why Jake was trying to kill himself. He was traumatized. He thought to atone all his mistakes to Sean but knowing he "kills" his own child makes him think that a guy like him should just die.
12. Jake's lifeless. Only Sean could help him. bring him back to life. Sean was too in love with Jake so he was also in regret because of not telling him everything from the beginning. Same with Jake, he was also in regret.. if he waits for a second and listens to Sean, everything wouldn't be hurt like this.
13. Jake is not over-reacting. Imagine if you lose the child after you try to conceive. that's how he feels. Sean didn't seem much emotional since he already accepts the reality of losing the child but Jake who just get to know this, feeling too broken of the truth.
14. I HOPE YOU GUYS RECONCILE, CLEAN UP ALL THE SHITS AND GET MARRIED. TAKE EMILY WITH YOU, TAKE THE KID WITH KYLES TOO (KYLE DOESN'T LOVE THAT CHILD) AND MAKE A NEW BABY WITH JAKE AGAIN. WISH YOU HAPPINESS. -----THE END-----
