And yes most (not all) Chinese manhua have some sort of abuse, cliched, rushed plot with no real destination as to were it's going. I am not saying all as there were some good ones, but from what I have seen, they always have this yin and yan thing(even in BL). There is a certain role the sub (male or female has to be fragile and cute) HAS to play and same goes with the Dom(Needs to strong and Macho). There is never a grey for them. The gender biases are huge and it rarely ever cofronts the actually feelings if both partners.

I really dislike this MC... I know parker is childish and pushy but he has saved her and done everything for her. Yet when the snake guy came around she got smitten and forgot parker easily.
