For sure that girl is not innocent and naive as she made herself to be. She's just freaking pretending. I badly want to slap the hell of her face.
There is NOTHING innocent about Rashta. She knows exactly what she’s doing. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was planted there by someone or she came up with the plan to be with the King when she was caught in the trap when the King went hunting. In the first chapter she smiles all evil like behind her hand. Then she calls out to empress in informal terms when she first meets the empress. She knows how the empress feels but chooses to ignore it and cause a further rift between the empress and emperor.
Rashta has a child from another man and the man’s father is milking money from her so that he won’t tell the truth to the emperor
God I know that rashta is innocent and sickeningly naive but uuuuuugh. I also hate that that's the kind of women that most men like. Like little girls that they have to "teach" and protect. Somebody stab her.
