maybe the reason why doumeki is not there cause the setting might be actually 100 years after..(based on the last chapter in xxholic) so doumeki's grandchild will be in his stead, but not mentioning him in this manga .. only watanuki...? since hhe holds an important role especially in situations like this..
Yes I think ma-chan's right.I think CLAMPS just want to change the timeline here because in xxxholic watanuki had bought some medicine for yuko-san from this store once (if i recall correctly) but then we met the 100-year-after watanuki in drug&drop!

you two are wrong. read xxxholic again, When Yuuko is still there, Watanuki went to the drug store and met Rikuo and Kazahaya at there. i remember it maybe on the very first chapter

I think it's 1 year gap cause the vase errand was Yuko san. But that drunk kid was Watanuki's errand. I'm confused probly The shop(watanuki's) is traveling times.
