Finally! I've been wanting to comment that since the first chapters but every time I came to the comment section I saw so much misinterpretation and so many stupid immature comments I didn't think people would even understand. I think this manhwa has a storyline too psychologically deep for the majority of the readers here. Most of them seem to be horny kids with a gay fetish, and this is the reason why I never come here in the first place. But thank you for understanding, this story needs more appreciation for what it actually is
Joowon is not a villain and it saddens me that most of the people who follow this manhwa feel that way. Joowon is a kid that, just as Haesoo, immaturely grew up while having big and deeper feelings towards someone forbidden. Both of them learned to deal with their problems with anger and resentment, hoping that someday they would understand each other while also never taking the first step: Talking.
This is why in the beginning Haesoo slept with many men to hurt Joowon and Joowon keeps getting himself in trouble since he couldn't find another way to reach him. It was obvious that they are in love but their situation, pride, and image did nothing but incremented their jealousy and pain.
Haesoo found in Taekyung what he couldn't get with Joowon: A relationship that doesn't punish him for his feelings nor the constant reminder of guiltiness... And that's okay. Even Haesoo doesn't love him, Taekyung is willing to give himself completely. Something that Joowon... Can't.
And Joowon knows it, reason why at the beginning he was making sure that Haesoo didn't fall in love with any of his nightstands or quick boyfriends. He was just as uneasy as Haesoo, Joowon also felt the fear of being replaced and these last chapters show it.
Joowon deserves as much redemption as anybody in the story. He deserves to move on, mature, forgive and if it is possible, to forget as well. He does since Joowon, the so-called bad guy, was willing to live "wrongly" than losing Haesoo's love... What a bad guy.
