Coming from such a family myself (father's side) When you grow up as this is the norm, it does not feel strange. I had a horrible time trying to become normal afterwards, and telling my then boyfriend (now husband of 43 years) was one of the hardest things I ever did, but I knew we couldn't go forward if I didn't reveal my past. I expected him to be filled with disgust and revulsion but I instead received acceptance and love. I was a child who had no control over my life, he said, and he told me that he would fill up the darkness with his love. And he did. If anyone ever breaks down and tells you that they had been molested, etc...just give them unconditional love and support. That is the most important thing we need to heal. Sorry, I got a little carried away there, but I felt you should know that there are people out there with genuine hearts who don't judge us for things we couldn't help. I'm not really judging.. I just detest the people who do this to their relatives(or to anyone without their consent) just because how they can't control their urges/desires And make traumatic memories for innocent people(like they did to you/character in the manga) It's just making me so damn furious.This is so wrong and I want you to understand that I'm not judging the victims..I'd be supportive if something like this were to happen to someone.I'm sorry for the things you lived through..I'm glad you found someone who accepts you with your everything.

Thank you! I understand where you are coming from now. I should also say that my fathers family also was raised that way, so they too didn't know any better. Also, I was reminded of something that most people don't think of, and that is all of Adam and Eves children grew up and married each other. The only relationships that God forbade was parent and child, mankind is the one who made familial ties into something bad/immoral. I was a lucky one because my mom and my now husband were there for me and helped me and my siblings heal (the ones from her first marriage). P.S. I know not everyone believes in God so I am not preaching here, just wanted to give some food for thought to those who claim to be TRUE CHRISTIANS and get all judgemental. Just saying...

I really hated that about this book. It's weird to do such things. But that's them. Not us. And it's just a manga. That someone worked hard to make. I liked some of her other ones much better.
