Both of you have great tastes but sadly, i have read all the recommendations. And except for tonari no atashi (which i love deeply too), ive cried too much while reading starry sky (the seme hurt the uke so bad in the beginning T.T) and bokura ga ita (this one is a MASTERpiece).

Maybe try Strobe Edge. Same author of Ao Haru Ride, ML already has a gf and he was pretty loyal to his gf. I didn't cry but it was pretty disheartening.

One more is Piece by Ashihara Hinako. ML friendzoned FL and then went gone. FL then tried to look for him while uncover the mystery behind ML past and accept him as he is. This one is mindblowing tbh.

Hhahaha nah same here it’s really hard to find any other mangas ... this one is pretty underrated (not that much of a tear jerker but the story is very captivating )
