how can u laugh when people are dying. Atleast DJun wants to spread awareness instead of laughing it off as someone else's problem.
The Wuhan coronavirus is not THAT dangerous. 4% death rate. It’s not SARS or MERS and not an influenza. The symptoms are usually those of a common cold. It’s an misfortune and prayers go out to everyone who’s involved. The sad truth is people are dying everyday from all kinds of things, we just have to do our best to stay safe and spread awareness. Laughing is a coping mechanism and I’m sure no one is laughing at people dying but rather at how crazy all of this is.

But that’s what I’ve been saying.. isn’t it? The Wuhan coronavirus which is currently spreading isn’t that dangerous. It has a 4% death rate. Treating it like a common cold is usually enough. Ofc it’s tragic that people die from it but people also die from common colds. It’s not as dangerous as MERS or SARS and it’s not an influenza so we just have to get through this. It’s just really unfortunate that it landed right on Chinese New Year. As of now there is no certain way to cure it but again, treating it like a common cold is usually sufficient. Scientists are currently working on antiviral medications and convalescent plasma treatments yet to be FDA approved.

Perhaps you wanted my response to be more elaborate, if so I hope this is better. I’m really sorry if I’m coming off as rude I’m just really uncertain as to why you linked that video to my second comment.
not THAT dangerous? 200+ people died and u are saying its just like common cold. Common dude do u even keep up with the statistics and news cus if its not that dangerous why are the airlines stopping all the flights from going to China and why is Russia closing its borders connected to China.
And may be in ur country people die cus of cold but not from where I am.So for us this is a serious threat and not some damn Flu.
I didn’t laugh at the virus. I laughed at the coincidence that I was thinking the exact same thing as the OP said. At least try to understand before judging people.

Ok then Sorry for misunderstanding.
Borders are being closed and people are stopped from traveling to prevent the virus from spreading further since there currently are no vaccines or medication specifically dedicated to the Wuhan coronavirus. “Dangerous”is relative and in comparison to the common cold, bird flu or other types of coronavirus it’s not THAT dangerous. Please read my replies more thoroughly.

Just because it's a new disease, panic doesn't have to ensue. There is no official vaccine or anything against it right now is all.
