well, i don't remember exactly but, after trashta became violent and rude, people hated her and wanted her to just get lost, while the emperor was depressed since he lost the FL, and he fell out of love for trashta, and didn't care what happened to her, in the end i dont remember what happened to the emperor but trashta gave birth to her child and since she had a huge scar or her face too she lost it all and killed herself i believe
ok just a theory... the emperor does like the empress but thinks she's too cold hearted and doesn't love him (i think she seems him as childhood friends). then he meets Rashta who fills that role of a lover he always wanted and makes the empress mad too. he forgets about her and once the empress throws him away he'll be like "wait but it was always you but she just filled that void and was my fairie manic dream girl". just a theory. i hope the mistreatment of the empress doesnt drag on for too long though.
