No she didn't say anything when she met either of them. She only was thinking and didn't speak a word. So they can be fooled by saying she's mute
Pretty sure she talked to the fox and the other dude before... so I don't see how they're gonna get fooled into thinking she's mute... or maybe I'm remembering wrong...
