I don't like how you put it that way. He's shocked, mad and depressed on how he just knew after many years that he killed his baby from his loved one. His baby died bcs his stupid mistake and he didnt know it. I think normal parents would react the same way he did, unless they didn't have heart.

Honestly, I kinda hate Jake. He's basically throwing out a 'pity me' face when he's the one who ruined another person's life. I don't have a soft spot for people who abandon and hurt others.
