I agree! But I think she doesn't like the current family because of an auntie....of i remember correctly...if not i got stories mixed up together
i think the aunt was her biological mom. but if not im forgetting since it was so long ago that i read that specific part
idk man. i just dont feel good about her hanging out with athys dad when she knows her situation...its like shes so happy but athy is obviously distressed but all jennette thinks about is “i thought it was a secret between us only” and “i think we’re becoming closer (to athys dad)” when we know that hes not even her real dad...shes too naive and selfish in a way. how is it that she is desperate in wanting to be a part of claude and athy’s family INTRUDING when she already has a family taking care of her who hasn’t treated her badly. she doesnt have a reason to need another family. i get she thinks that claudes her real dad but tbh if i was adopted and my biological parents came to get me back i wouldnt go. coz they werent the ones that raised me. she has no real relationship with claude... like she doesnt even consider if claude didnt want her she just keeps up this fantasy of her ideal view of how she wants things to be. aLSO lets not forget she didn’t really do much to stop claude from killing athy in the past x.x
