As horrible as this sounds, I'm staying cuz of the villains; not because I like them, but because they r the most unique thing in this story, the rest is sorta cliche.

Both of them r carrying the story's interest-factor imo (which is a pretty fragile thing to do; it wouldve been best to have a few interest-factors for a story). Without those two, it becomes a generic setting about an mc aiming to have some sort of alliance/relationship with a character, who has a strong influence, in order to survive; just like 5 or so other stories, but those other stories had a better portrayal that kept the reader engaged for a long period of time before it gets weak.

This story is like hanging by a thread instead of a proper solid rope. But hey, it's still pretty early in the story, so I guess I'm just overreacting, well- we'll see how it goes tho. It's still a pretty alright binge read now and then. Also the comments r interesting to read as well.

Omigosh! I was thinking the same thing! I'm so glad I'm not the only one cause i was expecting to see a bunch of adoring comments about how charming and cute the duke and the MC was, but I think that now that the MC managed to escape her fate by marrying the duke, the plot just became basic isekai lovey dovey tactics we usually see in most romantic isekai mangas so i got bored. No offense to y'all that likes that tho
