We don't blame her because she wants love. We do it because she is ignoring everyone else's happiness to achieve her own. YES, she is nice, but does that means that what she is doing is right? And WHAT??? She stole whose place again??? Athy didn't steal anything from her nor in her past life where she had nothing, nor in this one. So if Jeannette is nice and innocent does that mean that everyone happiness is less important than her own? Would you destroy someone else's happiness in order to achieve yours? She's not even trying to adjust the relationship of the ones that she calls a family. Everything is okay as long as everyone loves her.

Your long paragraph means nothing since this ain’t real life. It has even nothing to do with which side the story is with. Even if Jennette is the main character I don’t even think people will side with her. She’s plain, boring, dumb and all that. It’s natural to dislike her existence since she is NATURALLY stealing Athy’s place and her not having any intention to do so is triggering our patience. We do not hate her on a mere whim. It’s a FICTIONAL character, we have the privilege to hate her. We can hate antagonists, why not her?
We can hate characters we don't like right?

First of all she did not destroy athy happiness , she was not the one who made the king lose his memories, she was not the reason for their fights and sure as hell she did not do anything wrong besides being beside her sister and trying to get close to the king , put yourself in her shoes the king who is coldhearted man ( is with everyone expect athy ) he asked you to have tea with him he sits there barely says anything sleeping and me as jennete be like oh let me tell the king to fix his relationship with my sister yay :D hell no ! That's stupid okay they're not close not even his friend and loyal guard nor her nanny could change his mind heaven forbid not even the athy could! So how can this poor girl does and you blame her for finally having a tiny attention? Also she's thinking of her sister happiness it's shown in all the chapters that she constantly thinking about her , but she's powerless let's admit it the poor girl didn't even go to town alone let alone trying to save her sister from her crazy ass father( i like him but let's admit it he's scary ) and athy did take her spot if she didn't meet the king that day jennete would be the one in her place she herself admitted it if you don't believe me reread the chapters it's clearly saying I'm not saying care for jennete don't care for athy i say care for both because they both deserve to be loved .

Yeah she's that XD i mean if you think about it it's kind make sense since she really wasn't surrounded with many people the moment someone is a bit nice to her she BAM trust him and yes i agree i think she does but she was so happy to be with her father that she brushed it off ? Again totally dumb XD but even so i can't hate her i think her actions are cute ( refer to the fact that i actually like the classical type of shoujo which i mentioned earlier) but ut can be irritating athy on the other hand is smart ( that's why she survived lol ) i think if the stroy went as original i guess i now know why the king liked jennete because she was pure and didn't read too much the atmosphere also she doesn't give up so that how she gotten closer ( and the fact that she make him feel better? Dunno it has to do with his headache i think but there's more to it then that ) while the original athy was well logical and too afraid to try to get close that result her to not being knowledgeable and the heroine did the opposite of that .gosh i talk too much XD sorry for that!

Everyone here is hating on jennete while I'm here feeling sorry for her i mean she's dumb sometimes i admit it but what do you expect she's the typical naive pure heroine! And i don't hate it why ? Because she's sweetheart and cares for her sister a lot ! Even in original story that heroine recalled it said that the only person who truly was said for her death was jennete and i do feel bad for the heroine but again she was right she did stole jennete place and it's only logical to feel bad for that especially when the one you stole the pkace from is so goddamn nice to you! Even though i understand why she would feel jealous because she felt her place was stolen and yet she couldn't do anything about it because part of her knew that this how things were supposed to be . And it's only feel right for jennete to be jealous because she for the first time felt special to the princess isn't how you feel when you think you're special to someone and then you're like" oh I'm not " it hurts . We all want to be LOVED especially from our parents. Don't blame the poor kid for wanting that and don't take sides with the heroine just because she's heroine. Don't hate a character for no reason. I feel that when you do that to only a fiction how you act with people from real life ? If this story was real but not as exaggerated way ( princess and stuff ) would you take sides with the girl you witness all along and ditch other poor girl just because you think she's dumb ?!
