Is it true this doesnt follow the novel anymore?

If you read the novel, you might have a reason. I mean, I don’t hate her but there were many scenes when I’m pissed off of her petty actions. Jenette in the novel is definitely kinda (a bit or maybe super a bit) irritating. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
