I get how sad this manga is, but honestly Kira and Sui just irked me too much to fully sympathize with them. I mean I know they were like bonded by destiny, and apart of each other, but Kira was WAY too forgiving/blind to all that Sui did, even if it was part of his character or whatever. And Sui was just too, ugh, selfish and basically a dick to everyone, so any sympathy for him from his harsh past were constantly lost to me. Just saying truthfully my favorite character's were the two friends and it would have been better if Kira stayed with them. Still interesting story. Just didn't gain my empathy I guess...
