The last manhua chapter is equal to the end of chapter 40 of the novel. I recommend the whole chapter personally
Imagine. This manhua started at the end of 2017 (at least the translation). It's 2020 now and it's not half done. Literally a snail pace (slower than the Wangxian slow burn uwu)
Novel without extras is 113 chapters. With extras is another 10 or so.
Once you get into the pace it's a fast read. You have the advantage of knowing characters by names (something I struggled).
Try the authors other two novels. Scum Villain Self Saving system and Heavens official Blessing. HOB is closer to MDZS but it's longer and has less intense BL (it's like shounen ai).
I only recently got into novels myself thanks to MDZS
Lol, mangago points that its the same author for the manhuas. Wouldn't it be lovely if MDZS had the same art as HOB. Boooooy, it would have been godly.
I searched some other novels via novelupdates site. It's nice since besides the genres there are also tags (those feed my inner sadist)
