Um no the series is an anthology, done by numerous authors for the publishing company. J is mostly Takano's creation (I belive) that some of the other authors used in their stories as well. He is NOT in all the erotic fairy tales.
UHM, actually the entire series *IS* by Takano... I don't know what 'anthology' you read, however every published work in the erotic fairytale series is by Takano. Considering Takano was the one who drew and wrote them all. And Mr. J is in all of the published ones at some point.
Ho shitz... I just realized something. From this list: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=97366 it shows that the Beauty and the Beast is in the last stiry of Erotic Fairy Tales series. I think that Mr J will be the main character of the story (as in he's the beast) and he'll be meeting his Beauty in that story! (my theory!). Like OMG, if this is true... this is epicly awesome! *squeeeee*
