I honestly could've appreciated the deep meaning so much more if it wasn't so overdone. Maybe this could've worked in an animated style but it's only a mess when done in manhwa style. You barely notice time frames, whether things happened in the past, present or future. The transition doesn't sit well w/ manhwa style, ever wondered how all these monochromatic look would fluidly look when animated? The background song to emphazie the moment and stuff. The pacing wasn't exactly consistent as well. It was going fairly in a fine line before, changing time frames here and there. I still got the gist but as the end comes near, you can feel yourself getting whiplashed by a bunch of different heavy tragic moments all at once that it didn't faze you much, it's so much that it ends up being tangled and turns out to just be...... "oh..?"
I don’t think it being an animation would change anything unless they add the bits that are missing in the mahwa. It seems like the author just didn’t know how to go about it. You can’t even really pinpoint what this is suppose to be about.
