In chapter 23 Azusa says smth like "this feels weird (nostalgic?) Have I been here on a school trip before?" When he was at Karinos vacation house. Maybe that's a hint that they knew each other before? We never got to find out how Karino first got interested in Azusa so this may be a huge hint. Azusa probably doesn't remember and by becoming king Karino is trying to get close to him? Protect him? Stay with him? One of them or all of them at least.
Karino and Azusa do shitty things to each other, but Karino would never let others do anything to Azusa, he threatened Azusa before to let the whole school rape him or be with him but I never felt like he would truly do that. He just doesn't seem like the type to share what's his. And as for Azusa, do I see love blooming? This couple plotline has a long way to go and ALOT of explaining and plot twists.
