yeah but if ur talking abt the elves, they were former enemies, and if there's even a chance that one elf can escape or go on a rampage, one, it's either gonna be able to annihilate half the goblin population because most of them are weak, or it's gonna go and report to other elves about what happened and rou's clan is gonna be in shit. rou was just doing what he saw fit to protect his own and still give the elves a chance, either they kill themselves or give in. it's harsh but they're lucky he didn't kill all of them (both male and female). that's how hierarchies work in their world.
the first human girls he's ever met were ones who were raped into madness and he gave them poison to kill themselves. second batch of human girls were the ones captured by the older generation and once he's won them over he locked em up in a cave and didn't really care abt them for a few days, then the redhead was welcoming once he'd thought to interact with them. he gave them food and talked. once he'd found out that they had jobs, he let them do those jobs. the ones who were drugged were the elven group.
the difference is, those goblins purposely went on that expedition just to find humans to kidnap, while it's the elves that came to attack the goblins after rou refused to be part of their war. im not saying it's okay but he has all right to use captured elves to his advantage because he's spared them when they're an obvious threat to the safety of his people. besides, it wasnt like he gave them aphrodisiacs everytime. it was just at the very start and from there it's their choice.
i think you should reread chapter 19. i know there's lots of words but there's lots of details that u might've missed and that's why u cant enjoy this book much. if after that u still really dont like it then i'll respect that and leave you be.
imo, rou's done a good job being fair and just so far. if that wasn't the cause u woudlnt even catch me going through the trouble to defend this. i'm big on humanities as well and trust me, this story does a good job not making me uncomfortable and disappointed.
also keep in mind that the main reason he used the elves as sex slaves was to appease the sexual urges of the other goblins since he didn't want them to resort to kidnapping women again like they were used to doing. at least with the elves they were war prisoners and a threat to his ppl. not saying it was an okay choice, just that he was doing it to keep the peace of his community.
I like the idea of the manga but it bothers so much..he kept on saying he gave them a choice to be with him but he gave them aphrodisiacs which basically drugged them meaning they literally had no choice..I also hate his biased sense of judgement
