I agree, altho she is mentioning other true points. In his society being with a maid will cause people to look down on him. Also, if she stays and he falls for a noble woman, like she suspects he will , that would be painful from the sidelines. Also, even tho the story is changing, she has no way of knowing how it's changing and she is trying to secure his future.
I understand that about the societal rules. But he also told her that he could have changed her from being a maid, which she has yet to say if she approves or not. I'm not saying that her points arent valid but she is using the excuse that because she was always with him that's why he feels for her. Why cant she see that his feelings are valid and pure, he is too smart to be stuck in the wilds of a fleeting childs' crush.
I get it, and of course we want him to love her and her to know it, but , I would have hesitations as well. I would worry that he loves me because he is grateful and I am the only one who he's been around in his young life. What happens when he gets out into the world and meets more people. I usually hate plot devices where someone is throwing obstacles where there doesn't have to be any, but I understand all her concerns here..
True, but shes not afraid of him meeting just anyone, just one person in particular. And the only reason he fell for the princess ( dont remember her name) is because she broke the curse, which is no longer active because Ibelina broke it. That's the only bond he had to the princess. That's why I cant understand Ibelina's reasons. Because whenever she talks about him being destined to be with a noble woman, she pictures the princess. That's why I'm saying why cant she believe he loves her based on the only the reason he would have loved the princess. Especially knowing their bond is stronger.
Ibelina is starting to get on my nerves!! Dammit woman, why u pushing him away based on a stupid plot that is obviously changing!? Dangnabit.
Stop being so stupid!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
