Reading it translated is so much worse than just looking at the raws. That was devastating. The rape itself was depicted quite realistically (even the forceful ejaculation at the end was clearly portrayed as something bad) but the way Geumhwa reacted made everything even harder to stomach. He's defeated and heart broken. He just wanted a man who loves him and treats him like a partner should be treated. He thought he finally found that just to be abused again.
I feel nothing but hatred for Seungjae right now. How could he do this to someone he claims to care for? And then he blames it on the curse, what a pathetic excuse. When he greeted his new underlings he even told them to not put a finger on any of his possessions and I think it's pretty clear that he wasn't just talking about objects here.
I know that a lot of it probably comes from living in such an abusive household but that's not an excuse.
What's even worse, his brother now is pissed and I can already see him hurting Geumhwa again just to get back at Seungjae.
Anyways, this story is turning out to be so much better than I had anticipated. It has been pretty obvious since Blood and Soul that Gyaga is a pretty talented author who was simply lacking the experience to deliver something truly great but Cover up has been amazing so far and I can't wait to read more of it (even when it crushes my heart).
