really late reply but right!! it looks kinda tacky. and cat ears wouldn't be directly on top of a humans head, it would be slightly off to the side (where human ears are) it stems up from the side and goes up. if that makes sense lmao
I've seen cat eats like that in some manga and I don't like it.

Loose the human ears if they are going to have cat ears. To many manga and the like still give human ears though they also have animal ears and though I still enjoy the idea I wish they wouldn’t have duel sets of ears. (Human ears or animal ears pick one)
