I get that. In shoujo it’s almost always the FL chasing the ML and getting rejected time and time again. Usually if it’s a strong female lead it won’t happen though there are some that it does. Off topic but my favorite thing is an ML’s jealousy, it’s always so nice to read
Honestly I prefer to read this kind of story which the love is reciprocate or at least the ML is in love with the FM (or the on doing the chasing will be the man hehe) maybe because i'm a woman it hurts me to see stories which the FM is suffering while the ML is in love with another woman. Well, although in the end they both will be together, but still it is annoying you know since that means that the ML is already cheating on the FM!!!!
