I'm not sure if I can explain it well but let me try. (english is not my first language) Loops are process that triggers events. A revelation shows a part of the future and to fully understand the revelation you have to connect the right loops. For example; Like in an otome or role playing game when you have to decide what to choose between options that will trigger an event or is life changing those are loops. I believe in S1, the connecting loop to turn the events for Rum and Ginger is Lego while in S2 its Raphael for ManananxMon and MonoBaron.
I also don't remember it directly being said but I believe its wanting to be together even if they can't marry or have a family. Maybe I'll reread it xD

But like everyone else who’s read this I was sometimes confused & it wasn’t until I’ve reread this again that I kind of understood it a little bit better.
My main question is: wth is a loop? It was mentioned in the first season when the whole rum and ginger problem went down & I still don’t know what it is. Maybe I’m just dumb. Maybe the dialogue is what confused me the most. Some dialogue between mono and mr. mon confused me sooo much because the past was brought up many times between them. After rereading this I’m still left with some unanswered questions (⌒▽⌒)
