So essentially the gist of their story is that because Daegun is such a kind soul, he meets an untimely death a lot because he wants to help others which is what happens in this cycle too. But author notes say don't worry because now Nicholas will know how to look for him and he won't be lonely for 700 years again. It might take a few cycles for Daegun to reincarnate into a human again but there will be an epilogue after season 3. Right now the story is on season 2.

At least he'll always reincarnate and stay with Nicholas. But that's so sad, I hate to say it but Alexa play despacito
