If you mean the uke, then i think it’s because he was starting to feel other alphas pheromones too strongly so he couldn’t go around and work in that state and the seme’s pheromones were soothing for him so they decided it’s better if the uke gets used to his first, like some kind of training if you may.
he also could not fully control his own pheromones could also attract the other alphas he works with.
