Badass FL

Chouka Kou is one.

Arte is one too, though I wouldn't necessarily call her badass. Instead, she simply has a lot of determination, perseverance, and a strong will and mental fortitude.

Mangas like Jormungand and Black Lagoon are very badass, but they aren't very historical. The female leads in those mangas aren't heroes either, and lean on the grey side of the spectrum.

Akatsuki no Yona- for obvious reasons
Tsuki no Shippo- she isn't badass in the start but her character development is topnotch.

I'll get back to you when I do find other ones. For some reason, badass FLs are slim to none. Wheww
