honestly I dont want the knight to force ibee back or even pressure her. she should explore the world she's in, make some friends, build herself up. she said it herself that was she was always forced to be by alejandros side and I feel like it would be good for character growth to have some independence for both parties

Eh, I'm actually excited for her to go to the south! If she can be a key part of the resistance in the south (a leader maybe?) and Ale their leader in the north, assuming the resistance triumphs, they have a far smaller status difference (both would be war heroes).

The possessiveness is probably due to his own isolation through his childhood (the poor kid was alone till about the age of 13) but if it goes on, this is going to either go into yandere territory or just fizzle out.

I would also be happy if that princess and her bro support the rebellion and overthrow that scummy king and his son to have Ale (and Ibee) on the throne? or. well. Someone more agreeable at least. So far, the princess hasn't done much except cry at something scary as a little girl (even if this was cruel). Her actions in the novel may have been out of love, but I also feel self preservation played a big role. If the tyrant's kid wants to marry you and you're a hostage, it doesn't matter if a duke from the same country pledges his undying love to you. Accepting that is just going to get both parties killed.
