Well they seem to live in (at least it resembles) a medieval europe type of society. So in their perspective it seem more reasonable to get married before they became more intimate, so on. Yeah for us its kinda weird and rushed, but oh well.

Yeah but isn't it weird that she act like she absolutely have to tell him she can't have children and yet don't even try a single bit ? Like if you have any talk with your man on a bed ready to make love with a very sad face, you just have to put your hands on your stomach to convey that you are talking about children and something is wrong about it. (also the "how can he confort me when he don't understand me?" was super dumb, that's the point of not really trying all mean to make him understand what you're saying, to get comforted without the risk of being rejected because of the truth) anyway to me it make it feel like they don't give a shit about each other because they don't even try. If the point is telling the story of two egoistic people using each other to fulfill their need of affection it's working, but I don't see the romance in it.

That's what bothered me the most, it feels like she tricked him, even with the marriage thing, he didn't really understand what was going on until the ceremony, it feelslike she makes one bad decision after another, talking about trusting him but not being honest enough, or at least not trying hard enough to be. And I feel so bad about the necklace, anyone who's ever bought or selled something from a market (and there are only markets, aka variable prices depending on the customer, if we follow the european middle age setting) knows that :
- the starting price is never the right price
- if the price increases/decreases too fast you're still very far from the true value of the product
So, yeah, she seems to have experience living as a commonner, but has no life skills, I usually aren't hard to please nor hard to keep when it comes to reading manga but the girl is starting to get too dumb for me, I won't drop it yet but unfortunately I'm only one step from doing so -_-'

No like seriously, I've been abroad it's pretty easy to communicate just with moving your hands, it's messy and it take time to show what you want but it work.
