Most Yaoi had zero plot which is why their question is justified. Most yaoi is just sex, so if you're skipping then you're not reading much. I think that's what they meant, no need to be snarky.

wow, well here's my "justification" for reading yaoi lmao
1. Yaoi does not mostly have zero plot, maybe often simple plot, but still there is a plot and I can enjoy that too. And there are also great M+M stories that are not so simple. And yes, I like those the most.
2. Maybe some only read it just for the sex, well I'm just a sucker for romance. Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate an exceptional sexscene, like how the artist depicted this one. When I get to the sexscenes, to be honest most of the time it's the same old sequence: nipple, fellatio, rimming, fingering and penetration 85% the uke in closeup writhing in extacy. Director Kang giving head? Now that's what I'd like to see in a sexscene. Imho, these kinds of drawings are rare.
3. The sexscenes often have the LEAST TEXT, so.... who's not reading much?
I usually skip through sex scenes, but this is beautiful.
