Because I personally think it’s a bad decision to make and people make them way too quickly in situations like this. Maybe if I had a troubled family I’d be quick to make it too, but if I love my family and this is the kind of decision that someone asks me to take, I don’t think I’d be able to take it. In my situation, I have a younger sister, so there’s absolutely no way I’d become a vampire just to be with someone I love for maybe a couple more decades. Because let’s be real, there’s still a chance the relationship would go south and then I’m stuck a vampire and may potentially resent them.
(This is all assuming my own situation and not whatever Dokyung and Hajime have going on.)
In manhwas and stuff the main characters seem to make decisions on a whim sometimes so I’m hoping it won’t happen with this one either. I like some realism and I think it’s be nice to see a story where they stay together for the human’s life, but then the vampire moves on afterwards. Haha, maybe I just want to see something not super rosy :P
Oh oh, and I hope that Hajime doesn’t somehow lose his vampiric abilities and become a human because love as well! I just really like the idea of vampires and humans but one of them will have to die because biology and that’s just how it is lmao
Glad they’re addressing the longevity thing. I’ll be sad if Dokyung goes the ‘become a vampire’ route.
