I guess childhood friends? I like seeing this natural bond between the two. Those tiny interactions that shows how they've known each other for so long makes it more understandable why they'd like the other; it also feels somewhat more realistic imo.
Also, *cough* the potential for an unrequited love scenario is extremely high, and I'm a sucker for those type of settings; I like it when they try to hold back or worry about those bottled feelings :3
