He knows Jesse was a victim but not to what extent. He thinks it was touching. He asked Jesse "Why did you let him do that?" And Jesse said that was why he beat him up.
Hmmm - wasn’t that question directed to Andy? He had just arrived and only briefed on the the Andy toilet incident. He hadn’t spoken to Jesse yet about his abuse too since he had just arrived at the scene. I don’t think he know yet, it was more like asking why Andy let the teacher do that to him in the bathroom and Jesse jumped in to say he punched in.
Judging by his reaction to Chase’s statement, Joel would have jumped from punching to killing the teacher instead if he knew Jess was a victim too and had bottomed for him! Wonder if he’ll ever find out that his son was also a victim?
