I just finished reading Aoi's story and i understand what you're saying. BUT I completely understand Kouki's feelings too. Having your older brother suddenly become very mean to you and then just leave and completely disassociate with you can be crushing. On top of that he's lying to get money from his mom. Kouki has no awareness of his feelings and just thinks that all of a sudden his brother became trash. that being said Aoi's story was much better than Kouki's although the whole old man being in love with a high schooler was light weight pedo ish lol.
I don't know if it is bcz I read the sequel first, I like Aoi and sympathize with him, and don't like this younger bro at all..like I feel his family did injustice to Aoi with no reason,, I definitely don't support Aoi being all violent with Mitsuru, but I can understand his turmoil and pain of being in a forbidden love and not being able to express his feelings towards the one he loves..(even though incest is a no-no for me)
The more I liked Aoi's story the less I liked this one,, no character development, no depth in love, these two act so lovey dovey but I find no connection, no passion between them.. it feels so empty and shallow.. (and another thing, I thought Mitsuru will be the seme at first glance)
I find Mitsuru a good guy bt Kouki a hypocrite who is jealous of the close relationship of Mitsuru and Mitsuru's bro, despises his own bro, outcasts him, never communicating with his bro, left him to suffer, yet acting like he's the one getting all injustice..
