Banana Fish. Don't let the name fool you, the manga is amazing and heartbreaking a the same time. Our feared and beloved Akimi Yoshida made it and it even has anime. Although it has ganre Shounen Ai you can read it even though you're not into that cause it really dosen't have doki doki romance, but trust me on this one. The manga is epic and my favorite because how diffrent it is from others. Be warned though, allthough with cute part the story is really emotional and angsty, but definatavly 10/10

I just reread it and it is such a master piece. Take your time reading it. Nishida Higashi doesn't spell out everything. She likes to give hints. Like you should pay attention what the topic is and which memories come to the characters

Oh thank you so much I will read it because right now all I was doing is to re read the manga which I like and it is really difficult for me to get a new one. Because I don't want to read same old plot story so I will give this a try.
Oh my I am huge fan of this author. I really love this author work I have read all the work god know how many times. Because of that I am asking this question I want to read something likke that again but thank you so much for the reply but still if it is not too much to ask but can provide me some other manga which you really like and have a different story line or plot.
Honestly, Nishida Higashi is a one time talent... I like the work because it makes me think and even if I read it 10 times I discover some aspect I wasn't aware of. My interpretation of sickness in youth changed like 3 or four times.

It's okay :) I started at like 14 or so. At first I only read shonen ai and gradually more and more yaoi. So its been more or less 15 years. back then I only read the releases of nakamanga (sadly they shut down) and they did a lot of naono bohra scanslations.
