It's actually one big misunderstanding, the male lead actually love MC and he also know that MC is actually pretending to be lover with the painter, but he hasn't know why MC would distant away from him and also pretending to be lover with the painter that's why he's hesitating. They both love each other but they just wont talk (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
The blind cousin doesn't have any lovers affection to ML and truly only treat him as brother because she love the butler!(the one that also said that he love the blind cousin)
And guess what, the painter is actually a prince! He ran away because he just divorced(?) Or break up with his previous lover which is a man.
Later on he will develope some feelings to MC, he said that if it's other girls he doesn't feel anything but if it's you (MC) he loves her.
And yada yada yada she will still end up with ML
