Wattpad is very popular so give it a shot on it. Romance tends to be popular on Wattpad as well and is (arguably) easier to write compared to fantasy
I've been writing a yaoi novel on wattpad and it had and has only 8 reads for the past 4 months, even though I worked my ass of writing it. So it's not that easy.
Tapas is a good choice. Also, if you get enough readers you can receive money donations
I know it’s difficult to gain fans but I’m kinda trying my luck I guess. Btw, I plan on writing a hetero novel first with some side couples who will be LGBT. I mean, so far, I’ve only wrote short stories using writing prompts in Instagram and I’ve only posted it to my friends and all of them pretty much had positive opinions about it (I was kinda hoping some people to be harsh cuz I felt like all of them are being nice and fawning over me) and I’ve also posted my short stories on the school’s magazine (Too bad I can’t write my type of favourite stories; the teacher specifically warned me no sexual content, no dark stories and only content for high schoolers are allowed lol)
I’ll take Wattpad into consideration. Wattpad actually came to my mind initially. And I know romance is so popular but I’ve always find it pretty hard to write proper romance lol
(▰˘◡˘▰) Idk why you know me too well. I know it’s hard to be popular but looking at how some popular authors on some sites earning money off their stories makes me jelly. I didn’t know Tapas had a novel section? I thought it was only for comics alike. I’ll take Tapas into consideration too.
Actually I've got 5k reads on my fanfic that I wrote about 3 years ago and I got many followers but I guess they couldn't care less about my other work

Yeah, Tapas does novels, too.
Another place is Archive of our Own. Mostly for fanfic but I think there original section is starting to bloom. I've got a few posted there and they seem to do pretty well, though unless you update regularly it gets pushed off the front page pretty quickly. But- they have a pretty nice tagging system too.
