"Paternity leave" would’ve been the correct term. Idk if they had it back then, but guys get time off when they have a baby. It’s not for actually giving birth. His wife was having a baby and he was getting time off to help.
Ok wait, so why did arikara sensei (hara sen's chemi teacher) go on maternity leave? Was he gonna get pregnant or something? I dont mean any offense or anything, its just i purely dont understand :(
