its always better to read a story when its finised. what I liked was that the charas in the novel where not so obvious from the start. how more you read how more you know the chara's and love, hate, pity them. I had moments where I could hardly swallow...
the thing is... I didn not realize it was ongoing till chap81 XD then I stopped for my own good. ah and I also wanted to say, even though I reached chap80 it never felt boring (at least for me, lately I have prob. with focus, so I guess its not the worst one when I can read it wiht full mind)
from what i remember, the other prince turned king is def in love and a good boi. but sovieshu just barely starts realizing that maybe rashta is a conniving hoe with secrets of her own. but BARELY. Like he constantly yells at our empress about the stupidest reasons, turning literally blind for his mistress. They’re still supposed to be “friends” from childhood, but he barely acknowledges that.
Like I definitely think the idea of it was good, but the execution is terrible regarding the emperor and rashta. Like I consider something a good read if we can actually sympathize with the enemies or at least understand to some extent. But from what i’ve seen sovieshu and rashta are actually dumb shits.
Like I think everyone except the empress and the ML are the only sensible people, so it’s really a shit read full of pure frustration
this is actually like.. really really frustrating. Like Sovieshu will be continuously stupid and Rashta and conniving hoe for like over a hundred chapters. It’s literally not worth it. There’s maybe one or two moments of like a half assed revenge. Like if you haven’t read this, just mark it want to read later and don’t come back until it’s finished. you’ll thank me for this.
i read the entire novel until the latest chapter and i regret it all. there’s almost no satisfaction out of watching two people so horrendously stupid that you wonder how this country is even running at this state.
