i feel like trashta in the novel is more of an idiot. here, she looks more conniving...what's worse? neither. she's trash in both. As for our lovely empress, it's because they've cut stuff from the novel. if they included all of the stuff they cut, we'd see more fight in her....i just hope they don't cut too much of the scenes with prince heinley
