I feels like the author is expressing the superficial dream of their own or potentially another (male best friend, family member etc). It like they wish for this happy ending inconsiderate of the real life societal backlash of their conservative homeland Japan. This could have been fleshed out more. It’s like watching Snow White all other again.....a quick fleshless fairy tale where the MC gets an happy ever after without facing the struggles that should fall in between. A cute satisfactory superficial tale indeed. What i like that isnt brought to light in other work expect Dark Heaven is what homosexuals especially gay men have to deal with; feeling like they are dirty or even feel like something is wrong with them because of their preference. I like how the MC expresses that, that’s quality work there. But it bothers me how quickly everything went, straight man that sore on his life that he’s straight accepts his advances, being affectionate in conservative Japan where PDA and homosexuality is turned doen on and how quickly the second lead’s boss and coworkers accepts him. It’s ludicrous yet amusing in a good way. A cute tale indeed.
