Not to Chinese standards. I suggest to read it with Chinese customs in mind (even in modern settings) as it's considered beneath them to be overweight. It's completely different from Western standards.
yeah i understand that. doesnt make it suck less. its hard enough to find stories with a overweight lead that isnt just dumb (like ive read a few that fetishize it, and thats just weird) so of course i get my hope up when i see a overweight character in a good story
i'm looking forward to this arc! cause finally its a woman that doesn't have a "perfect" body, i always enjoy when the lead have a body that's more "real-looking" then the classic manga/manhwa hot/beautiful girl body
