I mean I dont blame her because she has been noticing his contact and secrecy with that same girl so when you find out that they spent a night in a hotel....and this is not the first time she has warned it....I understand her trying to stop their relationship....but I also dont blame him because that girl is the problem too...knowing someone has a girlfriend but still misleading him is wrong....he better really cut off from her....

Had a female friend who similarly woke up in a suspicious situation the only time she ever got black out drunk and passed out. She told me she never wanted to confirm whether the guy had sexually assaulted her because she never wanted to live with the confirmation it did happen and if he denied it, she knew she wouldn’t know if he was lying. She doesn’t drink around guys she doesn’t explicitly trust anymore.
So really, I hate the “woke up in bed with no memory” trope. Because that’s just fearing whether you’ve been raped and having everyone victim blame you. It’s not funny, or good relationship drama.
This was his first time getting drunk with friends and this is what happens. His friends don’t cut him off before he stops being able to walk or focus on anything, and a girl he has actively tried to politely avoid takes him to a hotel. Then the next day this girl says intentionally vague and manipulative things to him to confuse him even when he has never been interested in her before.
When he does the right thing and tells his girlfriend the truth as he knows it, she jumps to conclusions, puts words in his mouth, and assumes it’s an ongoing affair and he turns into the bad guy without really ever defending himself. I mean, there were red flags everywhere in their relationship but this is a real cake topper.
Wouldn’t blame him if he never drank again. Jesus. I wouldn’t.
