Quite a while I imagine, I also like that his character has actually grown. Usually authors tend to keep their main characters the same or at least those characters have the same traits despite their growth. But now we see Lin Feng show humility, and wisdom. Look back at the beggining of the story, he used to kill everyone that so much as looked at him wrong, and defied anyone, even good masters to him. Now he's still willing to kill, but he's learned when to fight his battles.
Yea definitely. If this had been how he was in the beginning, he would have told the alpacas (really? alpacas? xD) to leave right away, and if they didn't listen killed them. Instead he decided to just let things be unless they started trouble. You could see him almost taking action in that last chapter, if it wasn't for Lin Hao Jie intervening first.
This, imo, is the sign of a truly strong and wise person. The truly strong and wise don't feel the need to shout, boast and show off. They only fight when needed and let their skills do the talking at such times. Boasting and showing off is only a sign of insecurity, and possibly weakness.
