It’s no fun to just kill him. Everything that he holds dear must be ripped away from him first. He must be broken. Even then, we let him live, wanting to die. We only kill him AFTER he’s found something to live for again. Only then will justice be served. It also gives him a chance at redemption, but he isn’t likely too choose that.
