the real seung ho

when seung ho kicked jihwa out and jihwa said that other nobles are trashtalking about seung ho because he has sex with a peasant (nakyum), seung ho says that isn't true but if they are talking anyway he'll try that fellow out. when nakyum said he hated seung ho to death, seung ho says if he hates him anyway better clear some things out and goes for his sword threatening to hurt in hun.
seung ho is just a very, very misunderstood person with a bad boy(?) complex. he thinks that even when he tries to do something nice, the world will always deem him as notorious. so he has the mentality that if people think he's bad then he will be worse because they hate him anyway. in the early chapters, the servant says that seung ho has been hurt very deeply in the past. i think all these problems in his personality stem from certain incidents of his youth which will be unraveled slowly.
also seung ho is very devoid of warmth and affection so when nakyum said all those things about liking seung ho (in hun), it stirred something in him. he wanted it more. but when nakyum rejected him so bluntly, he felt angry because it hurt his pride. he knows he is attractive and men never reject his advances. so when he forced nakyum out of anger and self confidence, he sees that nakyum is not into it at all. seeing this, he lets nakyum go. y'all won't agree with me when i say this but i think he doesn't have predatory instinct in him.
i know i'm stretching far and wide to justify for seung ho's actions but something tells me he is not an evil person. he is just very, very troubled with deep emotional wounds and turmoil.

THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT! Of course we cannot always blame possible trama, but that trama could/can have extremely heavy effects on one person. Like Seung Ho for example. He could have been through a lot in his childhood: like maybe his father/or some guardian disciplined him to the point it just wasn't disciplining a child.. it was child abuse or maybe as child, he was considered to be a bad child because no one explained certain things to him properly.. therefore people giving him a name as a bad boy and at the same time having this extreme hatred for him.

I feel bad for Seung Ho (not pity but sympathy) but I also feel bad for Na Kyum (again sympathy). Both of these poor souls are confused and are in some kind of mental pain.

I hope that there will be an episode where things getting really deep between them [in a way that it's good for both of them], but I doubt it.
