I think you're right. The author probably only knew they wanted to make a 3p story about hugos and humans, but didn't really flesh out all the small details and plot points. That's probably why it feels so shallow and haphazard.
I’m mean the MCs are hot and all, I will keep reading bc I’m curious but if you are looking for a nice story don’t pick this up. I think the story doesn’t know where is going and it might change in the future but for now the blue haired MC is quite annoying and petty.
