That's exactly why it hurts! I still remember uegetsu crying when Aki finally ended it...it was so sad ( ≧Д≦)
You can say that, but love isn't as simple as you think, if you love someone it's just that, Akihiko loved ugestsu, but since it got toxic because neither could love the other more than their passion they drifted and Akihiko went to someone who 'loves him' cause it's comforting and convenient. I don't blame him ofc, it is easier to be with someone who loves you than with someone who you love. Doesn't change the fact that ugestsu was his first love. Also my opinions are purely mine but I would like to know what you think as well
